New Zealand has become the first country to support companies paying their employees in cryptocurrencies, writes Financial Time.

The resolution of the country’s tax service comes into force on September 1. At the same time, the resolution establishes several conditions under which companies can pay their employees with cryptocurrencies. In particular, you can pay in cryptocurrencies for work performed within the framework of an employment agreement; payments must be no less than in the national currency. In this case, the cryptocurrency used must be tied to one of the national currencies.
